Currently reading. I’m only four novels into her work, but she has quickly become one of my favorite Canadian fiction authors. The other being Mordecai Richler (Leonard Cohen for poetry!). I wholeheartedly recommend “Mad Shadows” and “A Season in the Life of Emmanuel” if you love excellent word-craft and storytelling.
